• "I had just had a new conservatory built and I needed a make over for my garden. I needed the lawn re-turfed, all fencing repainting, overhanging plants pruning back, a miniature wall building to create a raised lawn, some paving and gravel pathways and plants in tubs. • When we knew we had an extensive area to use as a bespoke display, we consulted John at Cedars as our first choice, based on a history of his quality workmanship and knowledge of our main Landscaping ranges.
  Cedars completed our large complex, landscaping displays on time , even after later additions of decking and fencing, working within our Health and Saftey guidelines, and with the minimum of Disruption to our business.

• "We realised very soon after moving into our house in Durham that the garden was effectively unusable, as it was a badly neglected, sloping site on which it was impossible to sit or play. John offered a quote for landscaping that was 33% lower than a second company’s and he seemed so positive and knowledgeable that we had no hesitation in asking him to take on the work. Like other clients, we appreciated the way he helped sort our ideas out into something realistic, adding his own experience to get a really good result. After several months of waiting (they are good so book them early!) it was like the Spanish Armada sailing up the road, with three teams arriving dead on time to get cracking. We had a couple of unexpected delays, but the work was finished about three weeks later and the result was brilliant – the day it was complete we sat out on a “proper patio” for the first time and enjoyed a drink in the sun. The job came in under budget, another bonus. Many thanks to John and the lads for helping to bring our garden back to life. "

• We were impressed with John from the first meeting. Never having engaged the services of a landscaper before and knowing nothing about garden design or plants, or even what we wanted, we needed someone who new their job. Also, as we had not moved into the property yet and lived 3/4 hours drive away we needed someone we could trust to get on with the job unsupervised.
  
  The garden had been neglected over many years and was badly overgrown & strewn with rubbish, it was also a very large area. John proved very good at finding out what garden design would suit us best and quickly proposed a design that we liked. John provided us with options and suggestions without which we would have struggled. We found John and his team to be very courteous, helpful and completely reliable.
  
  There were a few problems encountered which could not have been foreseen, John not only kept us informed of the problem but also had answers to the problem. He was proactive in his approach and highly motivated and provided us with regular updates, including photos by email of the progress.
  
  In summary, we were extremely satisfied with the service provided by Cedar Landscaping, we found them to be professional, competent, reliable and thoroughly nice people!
