Block Paved Driveways These basically speak for themselves, here are a few names of some of our perfered choices.
Thomas Armstrong offer 50mm and 60mm blocs in Red, Charcoal and Brindle. 50mm are recomended for pedestrian use only and not for driveways. Thomas armstrong also offer a hexagonal in these colours which is 60mm deep.
Beamish Cobble which are 60mm deep and availible in Harvest, Brindle and Stone colours are totally different to anything else on the market and are very popular at the moment.
Lakeland Country Stone are my favorites, they can go with a new build house or a pre-war house and don't look out of place. They come in two sizes, in 8.55 metre packs and leave a multicoloured finish based around the colour grey, 60mm in depth they are ideal for a driveway and they seem to look better with age.
Marshalls Brindle Driveway. This driveway took eight days to complete and what a transformation, the charcoal circle makes a focal point in the centre.
This was how the property looked before we started work. The tarmac drive which was installed by the builders when the house was built was no longer suitable for a family which has grown to have three cars. Click on the image to see the after shot.
Lakeland Edenstone. This more like an old cobble the your modern type blockpavior, i comes in two sizes and this particular colour as you can see is based around the colour grey. Because it already looks weathered when it is laid, it seems to age better than any other. Click on image to see it completed.
Click on the image to the end product of Thomas Armstrong Beamish Cobbles in the colour Harvest. The property was built from an unusual coloured brick and this was the obvious choice.
RMC Fanfare blocks in Brindle. RMC offer this unusuall looking block, this driveway was Brindle with Charcoal border as you can see by clicking the image.
Fanfare in Charcoal and Antique colours. Not a favorite of mine as I think using alternetive colours in this way makes the area look a little to busy, but everyone has their own taste and my clients were overjoyed with the final outcome. Click on image.
Lakeland Edenstone. This pattern is more difficult to lay and therefore more timetaking but I think it's worth it in the end as it breaks up the straight lines. Click on image to see end product.
